14 Miles of Beauty

Destination

Mt. Baldy stands at 10,046 ft. and is a part of the SoCal 6 Pack of Peaks Challenge.

We started this hike around 8:30 a.m. and ended by 5 p.m. We made a loop by going up Baldy Bowl Trail to the peak and then back via Devils Backbone Trail and Mt. Baldy Rd.

Devils Backbone Trail is a must!

When I looked at the ridge line from afar I was a little nervous because it looks like crazy steep drop offs, however once you get there you realize you've got a wide trail to walk on and there is no need to fear.

Beauty

waterfalls, pine cones, fall colors, and greenery.

Gratitude

  • travel partner for carrying the food

  • gorgeous weather

  • clearly marked trails

  • sunscreen and a hat

Thanks for checking out my adventure. Until next time!
